GradeBuzz (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the website gradebuzz.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
2. Photo Tool — No Data Collected
The GradeBuzz Photo & Signature Resizer tool processes all images entirely within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your photos, signatures, and any images you upload:
- Are never transmitted to our servers or any third-party server.
- Are never stored on our systems.
- Are never seen by GradeBuzz or any of its employees or partners.
- Are processed locally in your device's memory and discarded when you close the tab.
We have no technical capability to access photos processed through our tool.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the following non-personal, aggregated data to improve our service:
- Usage analytics (via Google Analytics): pages visited, time on page, referral source, device type, browser type, and general geographic location (country/city level). This data is anonymized and aggregated.
- Log data: Your IP address, browser type, and pages accessed are recorded in standard server logs for security and error diagnosis. Logs are retained for 30 days.
- Cookies: We use essential cookies for site functionality (e.g., dark mode preference) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics). See Section 6 for more details.
We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information.
4. Advertising — Google AdSense
GradeBuzz uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
